A hot spring located in Mimasaka Town (now Mimasaka City), Okayama Prefecture, on the southern foot of Mount Nagi, along the Yoshino River, a tributary of the Yoshii River. Salt-containing earth chloride spring, 40°C. Said to have been discovered by Jikaku Daishi, it was formerly called Sagi-no-yu. Katsumata-yu, which appears in the Meigetsuki and other books, had 44 hot spring inns in the Edo period.
