Located in northwestern Iran, about 12 km northeast of Kermanshah, this site features rock reliefs from the middle and late Sassanid period. It is also called Tāq-e Bostān. The name of the place means "Garden Arch." Among the mid-Sassanid period sculptures are the so-called "Divine Grant of Kings," which shows Ardashir II (reigned 379-383) being granted kingship by Ahura Mazda and the sun god Mithra, and a monument in a small iwan-shaped cave with reliefs of Shapur II (reigned 309-379) and Shapur III (reigned 383-388).
