A former town in Saeki District, western Hiroshima Prefecture. Most of the area is mountainous, producing a lot of timber, and is known for its konjac and wasabi. Dairy farming is also practiced. The town is centered around the national health resort hot spring, Yuki Onsen (radioactive spring, 28°C), and is accessible by bus from Hiroshima City.
