[1] 〘Noun〙① A bridge made by joining several narrow planks together over a stream or pond. ※Haiku poem, Wakamidori (1691) “Yatsuhashi no kichigai (The gap between eight bridges, waiting for you who have not come )”② The name of a fragrant wood. It is classified as Rakoku . Its fragrance is bitter and bitter. It is one of the 61 famous incense varieties.
