A sea checkpoint located in Nishi-Uraga, Sagami Province (present-day Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture). Due to inadequacies at the Ship Checkpoint located in Shimoda, Izu, it was moved to Uraga together with the magistrate's office in 1720, and the Ship Checkpoint Law was issued the following year. It was under the control of the Uraga magistrate and inspected the cargo of ships from various countries entering and leaving Edo Bay. It was abolished in 1872.
