Myo-sei - Myo-sho

A monk from the Goryeo period in Korea, he was the ringleader of the Seogyeong (Pyongyang) Rebellion. He changed his name to Jongshin. He was well versed in the theory of yin and yang geography, and became the teacher of Baek Suhan, a celestial observer and fortune teller in Seogyeong, capturing the hearts of the people. The two men used their yin and yang techniques to win over King Injong, advising him that the country would prosper if it moved the capital from the troubled Sangyeong (the capital, Kaesong) to Seogyeong. Inspired by this, King Injong toured Seogyeong, and the number of Myocheong's supporters increased among the courtiers. Kim Bu-sik and others responded strongly to the move, and expelled Myocheong as an evil spirit.

朝鮮，高麗時代の僧で西京(平壌)の反乱の首謀者。改名して浄心といった。陰陽地理の説に通じ，西京の日者(天文を観測し吉凶を占う者)白寿翰の師となり，民心をとらえた。2人は陰陽の術をもって仁宗に取り入り，異変の多い上京(首都開城)から西京に遷都すれば国は栄えると進言した。仁宗はこれに動かされて西京に巡幸し，廷臣のなかにも妙清支持者がふえた。これに対して金富軾（きんふしよく）らは遷都に強く反対し妙清を妖人として排撃した。
