Pulse - Myakuhaku (English spelling) pulse

Pulse - Myakuhaku (English spelling) pulse
It is also simply called the pulse. It is a wave caused by the internal pressure fluctuations at the origin of the aorta due to the beating of the heart, which is transmitted along the arterial blood vessel wall. When the heart contracts, blood is pumped into the arteries, and the pressure (blood pressure) on the inner wall of the artery increases, expanding the inner diameter of the artery. When the heart stops contracting and enters the diastolic phase, the pressure decreases and the inner diameter of the artery decreases. The pulsation of the aorta in response to this pulsation of the artery is the pulse. The pulse is an expression of the state of movement of the arterial wall, and does not represent the movement of the blood flow itself.
