Japanese: 歌枕名寄 - うたまくらなよせ

A medieval book on waka poetry. It divides the country into five provinces and seven roads, and lists the utamakura of each province, and lists the shoka that incorporate those utamakura from a wide range of sources, including the Man'yoshu, imperial anthologies, private anthologies, and private anthologies. It was compiled around the time of the Shingosenshu (1303), and is signed by the editor as Kojiki Katsugetsu no Kaku Sugetsu, but the biography of Sugetsu himself is unknown. In the Middle Ages, several so-called utamakura sensho were compiled to collect utamakura and their shoka to facilitate the composition of waka poetry, and of these, this book is the largest (38 volumes, over 6,000 poems) and is well organized.

中世の歌学書。全国を五畿七道，68ヵ国に区分して，当該国の歌枕を掲出し，その歌枕を詠みこんだ証歌を，《万葉集》，勅撰集，私家集，私撰集から広く引き出して列挙したもの。成立年代は《新後撰集》(1303)の前後で，編者は〈乞食活計之客澄月〉と署名があるが，〈澄月〉その人の伝はわからない。中世には歌枕とその証歌を類聚して作歌の便をはかったいわゆる歌枕撰書がいくつか編纂されたが，それらのうち，本書は最大(38巻，6000余首)で，よく整備されたものである。
