A catalog of books compiled and written by Japanese people up until the early Kamakura period. One volume. Editor unknown. Published in the mid-Kamakura period. 493 titles are categorized into 20 categories, such as Shinto rituals, imperial chronicles, and official affairs. However, books of waka poetry have been omitted, as the "Waka Gendai Shomoku Mokuroku" already existed. Although this is a catalog that only notes the volume number and author below the title, it is valuable in that it includes the names of books that have been lost. It seems that it was originally handed down together with the "Shokemeiki," a catalog of diaries up until the early Kamakura period.
