Russia's first peasant war (summer 1606 - October 1607). Led by Ivan Bolotnikov (?-1608), this rebellion, which became an important factor in the Smuta, arose as a reaction against the oppression of peasants and kholops (slaves) that had been rapidly increasing since the 16th century. Bolotnikov was a former military kholop, and through a strange turn of events returned to his homeland, where he became the leader of an anti-serfdom popular movement in Komaltskaya Oblast in northern Ukraine, where he made the overthrow of the Shuisky regime his banner, and even attracted some of the nobles to his camp. イワン・ボロトニコフIvan Bolotnikov(?‐1608)に指導された。
