Hokuhansan - Hokukansan

The main peak of the Bugak mountain range, located in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It forms the north wall of the Seoul Basin. It is 836 meters above sea level. It is also called Sankakusan because there are three 800-meter peaks to the northeast, including Baeundae, Mansubong, and Insubong. It is mainly made of granite and has a beautiful yet steep appearance. It is famous for the Hunting Monument, an archaeological site inspected by King Jinheung of the Silla Dynasty. Temples scattered throughout the mountain include Taekosa Temple, Seonggasa Temple, Manjusriam Temple, Wonhyoam Temple, Seongunsa Temple, Hyewangsa Temple, and Shinkansa Temple.

韓国（大韓民国）、京畿道(けいきどう)高陽市に位置する北岳山系の主峰。ソウル盆地の北壁を形づくる。標高836メートル。北東に白雲台、万寿峰、仁寿峰など800メートル級の峰が3個あることから三角山ともよばれる。おもに花崗(かこう)岩からなり山容は秀麗ながら険しい。新羅(しらぎ)王朝の真興王(しんこうおう)が視察した遺跡である巡狩碑が有名である。山中には太古寺、僧加寺をはじめ文殊庵(あん)、元暁(がんぎょう)庵、禅雲(ぜんうん)寺、挟旺(きょうおう)寺、津寛(しんかん)寺などの寺が散在している。
