The main peak of the Bugak mountain range, located in Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It forms the north wall of the Seoul Basin. It is 836 meters above sea level. It is also called Sankakusan because there are three 800-meter peaks to the northeast, including Baeundae, Mansubong, and Insubong. It is mainly made of granite and has a beautiful yet steep appearance. It is famous for the Hunting Monument, an archaeological site inspected by King Jinheung of the Silla Dynasty. Temples scattered throughout the mountain include Taekosa Temple, Seonggasa Temple, Manjusriam Temple, Wonhyoam Temple, Seongunsa Temple, Hyewangsa Temple, and Shinkansa Temple.
