Japanese: 防火木材 - ぼうかもくざい

Wood obtained by pressurized injection of fire retardant. Industrial standards include provisions for fire retardant for construction. Fire retardant agents are often used as mixtures since a single agent is unlikely to be effective. Mixed fire retardant agents consist of a mixture of phosphate compounds, phosphorus nitrogen compounds, phosphorus halogen compounds, boron compounds, antimony compounds, etc. Fire retardant effects are divided into flame retardant and dust retardant effects. These agents have a flame retardant effect by performing dilution, chemical bonding, and dehydration/carbonization actions through physical coating, insulation, heat absorption, and non-flammable gas generation.

防火薬剤の加圧注入処理により得られる木材。工業規格には建築用防火薬剤の規定がある。防火薬剤は単一の薬剤では効果を示しにくく，混合薬剤として使われることが多い。混合防火薬剤はリン酸系化合物，リン窒素化合物，リンハロゲン化合物，ホウ素化合物，アンチモン化合物などの混合物からなる。防火効果は防炎効果と防塵効果に分かれる。これらの薬剤は，防炎効果にかかわるものとして，物理的被覆，断熱，吸熱，不燃性ガス発生などにより希釈作用，化学的結合作用，脱水炭化作用を行う。
