Born: June 7, 1778, London [Died] March 30, 1840, Kahn A representative British dandy who had a major influence on men's fashion in the early 19th century, he was known as Beau Brummell. He was a classmate of the Prince of Wales (later George IV) at Eton College and reigned in British upper class society, but died in poverty in his later years.
