Flanders War - Flanders War

The war of aggression by King Louis XIV of France against the Spanish province of Flanders-Brabant (1667-68). When King Philip IV of Spain died in 1665, Louis XIV claimed the right of inheritance of his daughter, Maria Theresa, as "Queen's right," and demanded the transfer of Flanders-Brabant. For this reason, it is also called the "War of Devolution." In May 1667, the French army under Turenne invaded Flanders. In response, the Netherlands, England, and Sweden formed the Triple Alliance to put pressure on France, and the war ended in May 1668 with the Treaty of Aachen (French name Aix-la-Chapelle). France acquired the city of Lille and other areas.

フランス王ルイ14世のスペイン領フランドル・ブラバン地方への侵略戦争（1667～68）。1665年、スペイン王フェリペ4世が死去すると、ルイ14世はその王女であったマリア・テレサ妃の遺産相続権、「王妃の権利」を主張し、フランドル・ブラバンの譲渡を求めた。そのため「帰属戦争」guerre de Dévolutionともよぶ。67年5月、チュレンヌ指揮のフランス軍はフランドルに侵攻した。これに対しオランダとイギリス、スウェーデンは三国同盟を結成してフランスに圧力を加え、戦いは68年5月、アーヘン（フランス名エクス・ラ・シャペル）の和約を結んで終わった。フランスはリール市その他を獲得した。
