Biography: In 1993, AJ, Nick, and Howie D met at an audition in Orlando, Florida, and formed the dance and vocal group Backstreet Boys (BSB). Together with his cousin Kevin, they made their US debut as a five-man group with the album "Goin' On" in 1994. Their debut album "Backstreet Boys" debuted at number one on the German charts in 1996, and they subsequently gained popularity in Japan and the US. Their third album "Millennium" released in 1999 sold 35 million copies worldwide and topped the charts in 25 countries. They were nominated for five Grammy Awards in 2000. After a period of recharging as a group, they released their first album in five years, "Never Gone," in 2005. In 2006, Kevin, the oldest member, left the band, leaving the group as a four-man group, but Kevin returned in 2012. In April 2013, they were inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2015, the documentary film "BACKSTREET BOYS: SHOW'EM WHAT YOU'RE MADE OF" was released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their formation. Their representative songs include "Everybody," "I Want It That Way," and "As Long As You Love Me." Other albums include "Black & Blue" (2000), "Unbreakable" (2007), "This Is Us" (2009), and "In a World Like This" (2013). They have visited Japan many times.
