Orthoacid - Orthosan

Among oxoacids with the same oxidation number as the central atom, this refers to the one with the greatest number of oxygen atoms bonded to the central atom. The same is true for thioacids. However, in the IUPAC nomenclature system, the only names that use ortho are orthosilicic acid (H 4 SiO 4 ) , orthophosphoric acid (H 3 PO 4 ) , and orthoperiodic acid (H 5 IO 6 ) .

中心原子とその酸化数が同じオキソ酸のうちで,中心原子に結合した酸素原子数が最多のものをいう.チオ酸でも同様である.ただし,IUPAC命名法ではオルトを付ける名称は,オルトケイ酸H4SiO4,オルトリン酸H3PO4,オルト過ヨウ素酸H5IO6のみに限られている.
