Fujiwara Takafuji - Fujiwara no Takafuji

A nobleman in the early Heian period. Son of Uchitoneri Yoshikado and Nishiichi Masatakada Samimaro's daughter Haruko. Grandson of Sadaijin Fuyutsugu. Married Retsuko, daughter of Uji County's Dairyomiya Michiyamasu, and is said to have met his wife when they took shelter from the rain during a hunting trip; this episode is included in the Konjaku Monogatari and other books. Later, his daughter, Ineshi, became the consort of Emperor Uda, and gave birth to Prince Atsuhito (later Emperor Daigo), making him his maternal grandfather. Around the time of the prince's enthronement, he was promoted rapidly, becoming Dainagon in 899 and Naidaijin the following year, but died two months later. He was given the title of Kanshuji Naidaijin after building Kanshuji Temple (Yamashina Ward, Kyoto City) on the site of his father-in-law Yamasu's residence (some say Ineshi built the temple and enshrined Takafuji there), and this family line was later called the Kanshuji family. The grave is called the Ono Tomb and is said to be located on the summit of Mt. Nabeoka, southwest of Kanshuji Temple.

平安前期の公卿。内舎人良門と西市正高田沙弥麻呂の娘春子の子。左大臣冬嗣の孫。宇治郡大領宮道弥益の娘列子と結婚,この妻との出会いは狩に出かけて雨宿りをしたのがきっかけといい,そのエピソードが『今昔物語』などに収められている。その後娘の胤子が宇多天皇の女御となり,敦仁親王(のちの醍醐天皇)を生み外祖父となったことから,親王の立太子前後から急速に昇進し,昌泰2(899)年大納言,翌年内大臣となったが2カ月後に没。岳父弥益の邸跡に勧修寺(京都市山科区)を建立したことから(胤子が建立して高藤を祭ったとも)勧修寺内大臣と号され,のちにこの一流は勧修寺家と呼ばれた。墓は小野墓と称され,勧修寺の南西,鍋岡山の山頂にあるのがそれと伝える。
