A town in Kanzaki County in south-central Hyogo Prefecture. The main settlement faces the midstream of the Ichikawa River, and is served by the Bantan Line. The Chugoku Expressway and National Route 312 (Ikuno Kaido) intersect here. The town distributes agricultural products from the surrounding area, and in recent years has been industrialized. Woodworking and sake brewing are carried out here, and the town is prolific in matsutake mushrooms. It is home to the scenic Mount Nagusa and the Nagusa Falls. 45.79 km2 . Population: 19,830 (2010). 兵庫県中南部，神崎(かんざき)郡の町。主集落は市川中流に臨み，播但(ばんたん)線が通じる。中国自動車道と国道312号線（生野街道）が交差する。周辺の農産物を集散，近年は工業化が進んでいる。木工業，酒造が行われ，マツタケを多産。景勝の七種(なぐさ)山，七種滝がある。45.79km2。１万9830人（2010）。
