This wine is produced in the Chianti region of Tuscany in central Italy. It is also called Chianti. Most of it is red. The grapes used are mostly Sangiovese (red), and it is also blended with Canaiolo Nero (red), Trebbiano Toscano (white), and Malvasia del Chianti (white). It is produced using a unique method called the Governo method. After the main fermentation, grape juice that has been dried in the sun for several weeks is added to the wine, and the secondary fermentation is carried out for about 20 days, which is a method that makes the wine drinkable at a young age. The alcohol content is about 12%. Chianti became famous worldwide because of its container, which is a flask-shaped bottle filled with Chianti, inside a straw basket called a fiasco. Chianti is a normal wine and is loved by the masses, but there are also high-class varieties. However, in this case, the Governo Law will not be applied.
