A chronological history compiled at the end of the Kamakura period. The first three volumes of the 17-volume work are missing. The author is unknown, but is thought to have been an aristocrat from the late Kamakura period. It records the history from Emperor Reizei (reigned 967-969) to Emperor Gofukakusa (reigned 1246-1259) in classical Chinese, and is a valuable source for learning about political and social developments from the mid-Heian to the mid-Kamakura periods.
