Japanese: 伴淳三郎 - ばんじゅんざぶろう

Actor. Born in Yamagata Prefecture. Real name Hirosada Suzuki. He moved from one popular theater role to another at an early age, and joined Nikkatsu in 1927, but was unsuccessful and wandered between the film and entertainment worlds. In 1942, he founded the Banjun Comedy Troupe and toured around the country. His full-fledged return to film came in 1951 with Domoshichi Torimonochō: Ichibanka, where the line of Aja Par expressing surprise became a huge hit and he became an instant hit comedian. He subsequently appeared in the Private Story series, the Station series, Hunger Straits, and other films, playing a key supporting role. In 1978, he was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon.

俳優。山形県出身。本名鈴木寛定(ひろさだ)。早くから大衆演劇を転々とし，1927年日活に入社するが，売れないまま映画界と演芸界を放浪。1942年〈伴淳喜劇座〉を主宰し各地を巡業。本格的な映画復帰は1951年の《吃七(どもしち)捕物帖・一番手柄》で，驚きを表す〈アジャ・パー〉のせりふが大流行し，一躍人気コメディアンとなる。その後《二等兵物語》シリーズ，《駅前》シリーズ，《飢餓海峡》などに出演し，名脇役として活躍。1978年紫綬褒章受章。
