Pariah dog

Pariah dog

It is a member of the order Carnivora and family Canidae in the class Mammalia. It is a so-called stray dog that roams the streets of Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, and North Africa in a semi-wild state, and lives as a scavenger for carrion and debris. Since it has not been selectively culled for any particular purpose, its coat color varies widely, and some even have drooping ears. However, the pariah dogs of the Middle East and North Africa are considered to have descended from the wolves of the Middle East and South Asia, and typically have erect ears, drooping tails, thin limbs, a long, pointed snout, a medium build, light yellowish brown to reddish brown coat, and are said to resemble dingoes. They have short fur.
