There are various branches of medieval samurai. (1) A clan of the Yoshimine clan, the governor of Niwa County, Owari Province. It began when Takanari became the chief priest of Ninomiya (Oagata Shrine, Niwa County) and called himself Hara Daifu. His son Takaharu was the uncle of Taira Tadatsune, but because his mother was the sister of Kazusa no Suke Hirotsune, he joined the Minamoto no Yoritomo army. After that, he became involved with Hirotsune and had his main land confiscated, but it was returned to him in 1184 (Genryaku 1). During the time of his son Takanao, his land stewardship was confiscated. Takanao's nephew Takanobu was engaged in a dispute with Horio Asatsuna over farm land. Takakuni was assigned the Ninomiya Tadokoro position as an official of Ninomiya Shrine, but in 1295 (Einin 3) he argued with Ninomiya Zosho over the land stewardship and Tadokoro position.
