Nobel Industries Ltd.
An explosives manufacturing company whose predecessor was an explosives factory built by AB Nobel, the inventor of dynamite. It was one of the four companies that formed the British chemical company ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) when it was established in 1926. Nobel, who invented dynamite around 1866, built 15 explosives factories, mainly in Europe, by 1973. Later, in 1886, he established the Nobel Dynamite Trust in London as a holding company that oversees companies that manufacture explosives.

ダイナマイトの発明者A.B.ノーベルが建設した爆薬工場を前身とする爆薬製造会社。イギリスの化学会社ICI(インペリアル・ケミカル・インダストリー)社が1926年設立されたとき,母体となった4社のうちの一つ。1866年ころダイナマイトを発明したノーベルは73年までにヨーロッパを中心に15の爆薬工場を建設した。その後86年には,爆薬を製造する企業を統轄する持株会社ノーベル・ダイナマイト・トラストNobel Dynamite Trustをロンドンに設立した。
