Nebuchadnezzar [II] - Nebuchadnezzar
Neo-Babylonian king (reigned 604-562 BC). Son of Nabopolassar. Conquered Syria and Palestine, carried out the Babylonian Captivity, and restored the capital, Babylon. Most of the current ruins were built by him.
