A great fire in Rakuchū (Kyoto city) in 1730. It started in the Muromachi Nishiiri area of Kamitachiuri and burned down the area around Nishijin, west of Muromachi-dori, east of Kitano Shrine, north of Ichijo-dori, and south of Rosanji-dori. 134 towns, 3,797 houses, 67 temples and shrines, etc. were burned down (Nishijin Tengu Bunki). 1730年の洛中(らくちゅう)（京都の市街）の大火。上立売(かみたちうり)室町西入から出火し，西陣を中心に室町通以西，北野神社以東，一条通以北，盧山寺通以南を焼き尽くした。類焼町数134・家数3797・寺社67ほか（《西陣天狗筆記》）。下京の町衆によって施行(せぎょう)が行われた。
