Born in 1666. A samurai of the Hizen Saga domain. He explained the necessity of civil engineering flood control projects to the domain lord, Nabeshima Katsushige. He promoted projects such as the development of new rice fields in Kose-no, the construction of the Ichinoe Channel, and the Chikugo River Chirikudoi Levee. He died in 1631, at the age of 75.
