A city facing Toyama Bay in northern Toyama Prefecture. Established as a city in 1954. Passed by the Ainokaze Toyama Railway, Toyama Chiho Railway, and Hokuriku Expressway, it is the second largest medicine center after neighboring Toyama City to the west, with many pharmaceutical factories and peddlers. In recent years, it has become more of a satellite city of Toyama City, with an increasing number of factories producing metal products, electrical equipment, and other products. The rural areas are a specialty of Kazumi apples. Offshore, swarms of firefly squid (a special natural monument) swim in the sea, and they flock to the coast from May to June. When natural conditions are favorable, mirages can be seen from April to May. 54.63 km2 . Population: 33,676 (2010). → Related itemsHadebe-so Source : Heibonsha Encyclopedia About MyPedia Information |
