This is a record of the peasant uprising that occurred throughout the territory of the Daishoji domain in Kaga Province in 1712 (2nd year of Shotoku). In 1762 (12th year of Horeki), Kodama Noritada, a samurai of the Daishoji domain, added embellishments to the original text (unknown) and added his own observations. It is tentatively based on the story of an old man who stayed in seclusion at Nata Kannon Temple in Enuma County within the domain. A strong wind in August of that year caused a poor harvest, and the situation was inspected, but the reduction and exemption was too small, so on the night of October 6th, the rebels attacked the house of the head of Nata village where the official in charge was staying and Nata Temple. The next day, they surrounded the officials who were taking refuge and negotiated with them, obtaining a document for a 60% reduction and exemption. They also demanded the abolition of tea and paper wholesalers, as well as the abolition of new taxes, increased exemptions, and first harvest fees at a general meeting of the village heads.

1712年(正徳2)加賀国大聖寺藩領の全域に起こった惣百姓一揆の記録。62年(宝暦12)大聖寺藩士児玉則忠が底本(不詳)に文飾を加え，かつ自分の見聞を補筆したもの。領内の江沼郡那谷観音に参籠した老人の物語の聞取り書に仮託されている。この年8月の烈風で不作となり，その状況の見分を受けたが減免が少なすぎたため，10月6日夜，見立役人が泊まった那谷村肝煎宅と那谷寺を一揆勢が襲い，翌日，逃避中の役人を包囲して集団交渉し，6割減免の証文をとり，また村肝煎の総寄合で茶問屋，紙問屋の廃止，新高，増免，初穂代等の廃止も要求した。
