A tributary of the Oder (Odra) River between Poland and Germany. Its Polish name is the Nysa River. It originates in the mountains at the northern end of the Czech Republic, flows north along the Polish-German border, and joins the Oder River 15 km north of Guben. Its total length is 255 km. After World War II, the Oder-Neisse line, which joins these two rivers, became the border between Germany and Poland.

ポーランドとドイツの間を流れるオーデル川（オドラ川）の支流。ポーランド名はニサNysa川。チェコ北端部の山地に発し，ポーランド・ドイツ国境を北流，グーベン北方15kmでオーデル川に合流。全長255km。第２次大戦後，この二つの川を連ねたオーデル・ナイセ線がドイツとポーランドの国境線とされた。
