1552-1611 (Tenbun 21-Keicho 16) An artillery expert from the Azuchi-Momoyama and early Edo periods. He later changed his name to Sukenao, and his pen name was Ichimu. He was from Tango and was the founder of the Inatomi school of artillery. He served the Isshiki and Hosokawa clans, and participated in the Korean expedition. In 1600, he fled when Tadaoki Hosokawa's wife (Gracia) committed suicide, and was pursued by Tadaoki, but was pardoned under the protection of Tokugawa Ieyasu. He was later invited by Matsudaira Tadayoshi and Tokugawa Yoshinao to teach artillery in Nagoya, and also worked hard to turn the Kunitomo Blacksmith Corps into a shogunate arsenal.
