The body is elliptical, the integument is transparent and soft, and there is a root-like process on the right side. It is widely distributed in sandy and muddy areas of the northwestern Pacific Ocean, and can be found in the inland bays of Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu. 原索動物門尾索亜門ホヤ綱腸性目コレラ科。体長 2cm以下。体は楕円形,外皮は透明で軟らかく,右側に根状突起をもつ。西北太平洋の砂泥地に広く分布し,本州,四国,九州の諸内湾にみられる。
