Corella japonica
Phylum Protochordata, Subphylum Urochordata, Class Ascidiacea, Order Enterococidae, Family Choleracea. Body length less than 2 cm. The body is elliptical, the integument is transparent and soft, and there is a root-like process on the right side. It is widely distributed in sandy and muddy areas of the northwestern Pacific Ocean, and can be found in the inland bays of Honshu, Shikoku, and Kyushu.
