This refers to synthetic resins that have electrical conductivity. Conductive resins can be classified according to their volume resistivity, as shown in the table below, and can basically be divided into the following two categories: (1) Synthetic resins that are originally insulating but have been given a certain degree of conductivity for the purpose of removing static electricity and preventing charging due to friction, due to practical issues. They are used to prevent static electricity in carpets, to remove static electricity in integrated circuit manufacturing plants where dust is undesirable, to prevent static electricity in spinning and printing rolls, and in clothing for handling flammable hazardous materials. 電気伝導性を有する合成樹脂をいう。導電性樹脂はその体積固有抵抗でわけると,表のようになり,基本的には次の二つに大別することができる。(1)本来絶縁性の合成樹脂に,実用上の問題から,静電気除去作用,摩擦による帯電の防止を目的として,ある程度の導電性をもたせたもの。カーペットの帯電防止,ほこりを嫌う集積回路製造工場などでの静電気除去,紡績用や印刷用ロールの帯電防止,発火性危険物取扱用の衣服などに用いられる。
