Densuke gambling - Densuke gambling

This is a type of cheating gambling that is played on the streets using an easily movable platform (called a "densuke"). There are many types of cheating gambling, such as "Peace Nuki" and "Moya Gaeshi" that use cigarette packets, "Dokkoi Dokkoi" where a rotating needle is set on a disk and players bet on the letters on the circumference, spin the needle, and when the spinning stops, the place where the needle landed is the winning spot, as well as "Momidama" and "Akakuro" and many others. All of these types of cheating gambling involve cheating with skill, getting a fellow cheater to win, and sometimes even violence.

移動しやすい台（これをデンスケとよぶ）を使って街頭で行うイカサマ博奕(ばくち)。たばこの箱を使う「ピース抜き」「モヤ返し」、円盤に回転する針を仕掛けて、その円周上の文字に賭(か)けさせ、針を回し、回転が止まって針のさしたところが当りになる「ドッコイ・ドッコイ」、そのほか「モミダマ」「赤黒」など多数ある。いずれも手さばきでごまかしたり、仲間のサクラに当りをとらせたり、ときには暴力沙汰(ざた)にも及ぶイカサマ賭博である。
