Its official name is the All Japan Electrical, Electronics and Information Industry Workers' Union Federation. It is an affiliated union of the federation. Its predecessor was Zendenko (All Japan Electrical Industry Workers' Union, affiliated to the Industrial Federation Conference), which was formed in 1946. It was dissolved in 1949 amid the industrial democratization movement and subsequently split up, but was re-established as Denkiroren (All Japan Electrical Equipment Workers' Union Federation) in June 1953 with the aim of democratizing the labor movement and creating a unified organization for electrical workers. The movement is based on a spirit of trust and fraternity, and aims to respect basic labor rights, improve the economic and social status of workers, as well as democratize and socialize industry, achieve peaceful economic development, and achieve world peace. 正称は全日本電機・電子・情報産業労働組合連合会。連合の加盟組合。1946年結成の全電工(全日本電気工業労働組合。産別会議に加盟)が前身。産別民主化運動のなかで49年解体,その後分裂していたが,労働運動の民主化と電機労働者の統一組織をめざし,53年6月に電機労連(全日本電機機器労働組合連合会)として結成。運動の基本は信義と友愛の精神のもと,労働基本権を遵守し,労働者の経済的・社会的地位の向上を期するとともに,産業の民主化,社会化,経済の平和的発展と世界平和の実現を期する。
