Kabuki actor. There are four generations. The stage name is Omodakaya. The second generation (1855-1922) was a disciple of Ichikawa Danjuro IX. He rose from a lower-ranking actor to a senior position, and excelled in leading roles, villain roles, and dancing. His eldest son was Ichikawa Ennosuke II, and his eldest son was Danshiro III (1908-1963).
