Chen Mingshu

Japanese: 陳銘枢 - ちんめいすう

1889‐1965
Chinese politician and soldier. His pen name was Zhenru. He was from Hepu, Guangdong Province (now Hepu County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region). He was a former member of the Tongmenghui and graduated from Baoding Military Academy. After graduating, he participated in the Northern Expedition. After Chiang Kai-shek's coup, he became deputy director of the General Political Department of the National Revolutionary Army and led the siege of the Soviet area. In 1932, he participated in the Shanghai Incident, which was started by Japan, and gradually strengthened his anti-Japanese and anti-Chiang stance. In 1933, he joined the 19th Route Army of the National Revolutionary Army together with Li Jishen, Cai Tingshuan and others, and established the People's Revolutionary Government of the Republic of China (Fujian People's Government) in Fujian Province.

中国の政治家，軍人。字は真如。広東省合浦(現，広西チワン族自治区合浦県)の人。かつて同盟会会員で，保定軍官学校を卒業後，北伐に参加し，蔣介石のクーデタ後は国民革命軍総政治部副主任となり，ソビエト地区包囲攻撃を指揮した。1932年，日本が起こした上海事変において淞滬（しようこ）抗戦に参加し，しだいに抗日と反蔣の立場を強めた。33年李済深，蔡廷鍇らとともに国民革命軍第十九路軍を加え，福建省で中華共和国人民革命政府(福建人民政府)をつくった。
