A society formed in China in 1915 to promote Yuan Shikai's imperialist movement. After the Second Revolution, Yuan, who established an autocratic rule, had ambitions of becoming emperor and ordered his confidant Yang Du, who had written "The Emperor's Constitutional Treatise on Saving the Nation" and supported the imperial system, to organize the Chuan An Hui. Yan Fu, a constitutionalist from the late Qing Dynasty, and members of the China Revolutionary Alliance Association, Sun Yuyun, Hu Ying, Li Xiehe, and Liu Shipei, participated in the Chuan An Hui and promoted the movement to restore the imperial system.
