Thymol - Chimoru (English spelling) thymol

It is a colorless crystal or crystalline powder with an aromatic odor and a tongue-burning irritant, known as a bactericide, antiseptic, and anthelmintic. It was once taken orally to eliminate roundworms and pinworms, but is now rarely used for this purpose. A 20% solution is used in dentistry to disinfect cavity cavities and root canals, and to relieve pain and soothe pulpitis. It is also used in external liquids, ointments, and powders for localized disinfection, and is added to mouthwashes, cleaning agents, and toothpastes.
