A report written by a spy. During the Ansei Purge in 1858 (Ansei 5), the Kyoto Town Magistrate sent spies to nobles in Kyoto, the Mito Domain residence, and even within the Mito Domain to report their movements to the Shoshidai, and in 1871 (Meiji 4), the report with this name was prepared when the Dajokan Seiin Kanbu-ka dispatched detectives to investigate anti-government movements. The titles of the reports of Koga spies who scouted Shikoku and Kitakyushu in 1627 (Kan'ei 4), "Sanuki Iyo Tosa Awa Exploration Book" and "Chikuzen Chikugo Hizen Higo Exploration Book," were given by later generations. 密偵の復命書。1858年(安政5)安政の大獄のとき京都町奉行が京都の公家や水戸藩邸，さらに水戸藩内にも密偵を送ってその動向を所司代に報告し，71年(明治4)太政官正院監部課が探偵を派遣して反政府的動向を調査したときこの名の報告書が作られた。1627年(寛永4)甲賀の隠密が四国，北九州を偵察した報告書の書名〈讃岐伊予土佐阿波探索書〉〈筑前筑後肥前肥後探索書〉は後人の命名。【金井円】
