Japanese: 玉之浦[町] - たまのうら

A former town on the southwestern tip of Fukue Island in the Goto Islands, Minami Matsuura District, Nagasaki Prefecture. Surrounding Tamanoura Bay, a beautiful bay with many bends, Tamanoura Port has prospered since ancient times as a base for offshore fishing. Currently, the town operates coastal fishing, and pearl, sea bream, and yellowtail farming. Osezaki, with its extensive sea cliffs, is one of the most scenic spots in Saikai National Park. In August 2004, it merged with Fukue City, Minami Matsuura District's Tomie Town, Miiraku Town, Kishuku Town, and Naru Town to form Goto City. 68.36 ^km2 . 2,184 people (2003).

長崎県南松浦郡，五島列島福江島南西端の旧町。屈曲に富む良湾の玉之浦湾を抱き，玉之浦港は古来沖合漁業の根拠地として繁栄した。現在は沿岸漁業，真珠・タイ・ハマチ養殖を営む。海食崖が発達する大瀬崎は西海国立公園屈指の景勝地。2004年８月福江市，南松浦郡富江町，三井楽町，岐宿町，奈留町と合併し，五島市となる。68.36km²。2184人（2003）。
