A town in Nakatado County in western Kagawa Prefecture. Facing the Seto Inland Sea, it includes the islands of Takamijima and Sanagijima. Tadotsu Port, the central port, developed as a boat dock for visitors to Kotohira Shrine, and is the junction of the Yosan and Dosan lines, with ferries running to Kasaoka and Fukuyama. There is the JR Tadotsu Factory, and the cultivation of rice, wheat, grapes, and vegetables is thriving using reservoir irrigation. Momoryo Park is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot. 24.38 ^km2 . Population: 23,498 (2010).

香川県西部，仲多度郡の町。瀬戸内海に面し，高見島，佐柳(さなぎ)島を含む。中心の多度津港は金刀比羅(ことひら)宮参拝客の船だまりとして発展，予讃線と土讃線の分岐点で，笠岡，福山へ連絡船が通じる。JR多度津工場があり，溜池灌漑(ためいけかんがい)による米，麦，ブドウ，蔬菜の栽培も盛ん。桃陵公園は桜の名所。24.38km²。２万3498人（2010）。
