Japanese: タジク語 - タジクご(英語表記)Tajik
Tajik - Tajikgo (English spelling)
Along with Persian, it is one of the western dialects of the Iranian language family and is found in a wide area in Central Asia and the former Soviet Union, including Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan, as well as in Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China. However, its speakers are concentrated in an area stretching from western Iran through northern Afghanistan to northeastern Tajikistan. Tajik is generally divided into two major dialect groups, the northwestern and southwestern. The former is found within the former Soviet Union, and the latter beyond that, in Afghanistan, Iran, etc.
