Japanese: 多伎[町] - たき

An old town in Hikawa District, Shimane Prefecture, facing the Sea of Japan. The San'in Main Line runs along the coast. Most of the area is forest, with little arable land. Figs are a specialty, and they are also processed into jam and other products. Fixed-net fishing is practiced, and nori, wakame seaweed, and sea urchins are also produced. In March 2005, it was incorporated into Izumo City along with Hirata City, Sada Town, Koryo Town, and Taisha Town in Hikawa District. 55.04 ^km2 . 4,191 people (2003).

島根県簸川(ひかわ)郡，日本海に面する旧町。沿岸に山陰本線が通じる。大半が山林で耕地は少ない。イチジクを特産し，ジャムなどの加工も行う。定置網による漁業を行い，ノリ，ワカメ，ウニも産する。2005年３月平田市，簸川郡佐田町，湖陵町，大社町と出雲市へ編入。55.04km²。4191人（2003）。
