Thermal efficiency is a kind of accumulated temperature devised by Thornthwaite for the climate classification (old classification), and is expressed as a T - E index. The T - E index is calculated by adding up the average temperature of each month, T (°F), ( T -32)/4 ( 9t /20 for Celsius temperature t ), with negative values ​​being set to 0 for months.
