Severn [river] - Severn
A river in the west of Great Britain, England. It originates in the mountains of Wales, flows northeast to Shrewsbury, England, turns southwest to Worcester, and empties into Bristol Bay with the Avon. It is connected to the Thames by a small canal. A 6.5 km long bridge was completed at its mouth in 1966.
