Senosho - Senosho

Japanese: 世能荘 - せののしょう

This was a manor of the Daijokan Churya family in Annan County, Aki Province. Its territory included the villages of Seno (present-day Kamiseno and Shimoseno, Senogawa-cho, Aki Ward, Hiroshima City) and Arayama (Nakano, Senogawa-cho), and it is often referred to as Seno Arayama Manor. In 1193 (Kenkyu 4), in response to the efforts of Kanmu Otsuki Takamoto, who was plotting to secure land for various governors, Kokushi Taira Chikamori designated Seno and Arayama villages as Binpo no Ho (bimpono ho) as areas for the payment of rice and other taxes to the Daijokan Churya family. Takamoto applied again to resolve the instability of the management of the ho, and as a result, the four-stage plaque was established, and Seno Arayama Manor, the domain of Takakura Hokkedo, was established in 1198.

安芸国安南郡の太政官厨家領荘園。世能村(現，広島市安芸区瀬野川町上瀬野･下瀬野)，荒山村(同町中野)を荘域に含み，世能荒山荘と称されることも多い。1193年(建久4)諸司領確保をもくろむ官務小槻隆職（たかもと）の働きかけに応じ，国司平親守は太政官厨家納物米以下の進済地として世能･荒山両村を便補保（びんぽのほ）に指定した。隆職は保経営の不安定さを打開するため再び申請を行い，その結果，四至牓示が打ち定められ，98年高倉法華堂領世能荒山荘の成立をみた。
