Japanese: 接着紙 - せっちゃくし（英語表記）adhesive paper

Paper coated with adhesive on one or both sides, also known as adhesive paper. Used for adhesive labels, adhesive tapes, etc. The base paper for adhesive labels is high-quality paper, coated paper, or metal foil paper, but paper adhesive tapes are often made with kraft paper. Adhesives are natural rubber, synthetic rubber, polyacrylate, or polyvinyl ether. Adhesive labels are made by applying adhesive to release paper, placing a surface paper on top, printing, and cutting, and then peeling off the release paper when used.

片面または両面に粘着剤を塗った紙で，粘着紙ともいう。粘着ラベル，粘着テープなどに用いる。粘着ラベルの原紙には上質紙，コート紙，金属箔紙などを用いるが，紙粘着テープにはクラフト紙を用いたものが多い。粘着剤には，天然ゴム系，合成ゴム系，ポリアクリル酸エステル系，ポリビニルエーテル系のものを使う。粘着ラベルは，剝離紙（はくりし）に粘着剤を塗ってその上に表面紙を重ね，印刷，型抜きをしてつくられ，使用時に剝離紙からはぎ取る。
