Life Insurance Workers Union - Seihororen

Japanese: 生保労連 - せいほろうれん

Its official name is the National Federation of Life Insurance Workers' Unions. An affiliated union of the federation. Seiho-Ren was formed in 1969 by unifying Zenseiho (National Federation of Life Insurance Workers' Unions), a federation of unions for administrative staff at life insurance companies formed in 1946, and Zengai-Ren (National Federation of Life Insurance Foreign Affairs Workers' Unions), a federation of unions for sales staff. Prior to this unification, Zenseiho and Zengai-Ren had established Seiho-Souren (National Federation of Life Insurance Workers' Unions) in 1952, but the current Seiho-Ren was established as a result of the establishment of a system for the integration of workers in the life insurance industry.

正称は全国生命保険労働組合連合会。連合の加盟組合。生保労連は，1946年に結成された生命保険会社の事務職員の組合の連合体であった全生保(全国生命保険労働組合連合会)と，営業職員の組合の連合体であった全外連(全国生命保険外務労働組合連合会)が統一して，69年に結成された組織である。なお，この統一以前にも，52年に全生保と全外連によって，生保総連(全国生命保険労働組合総連合会)が設立されていたが，生保産業労働者の一体化への体制整備が行われた結果，現在の生保労連が成立した。
