Suruga version - Surugaban

After Tokugawa Ieyasu retired to Suruga (Shizuoka City) in his later years, he ordered Ishin (Konchiin), Suden, Hayashi Razan (Doshun) and others to publish this book using copper type. Along with the Fushimi edition, it is famous as a book published by Ieyasu. The circumstances of its publication are detailed in Suden's Honko Kokushi Nikki. First, in 1615 (Genwa 1), he published Daizo Ichiranshu, with 125 copies printed, and the following year he published Gunshochoyo, but Ieyasu suddenly passed away before it was completed. The Suruga edition copper type (an important cultural property) is currently owned by Toppan Printing Co., Ltd.

徳川家康が晩年駿府(すんぷ)（静岡市）に退隠してのち、以心(いしん)（金地院(こんちいん)）崇伝(すうでん)・林羅山(はやしらざん)（道春(どうしゅん)）らに命じ、銅活字を用いて出版した書物。伏見(ふしみ)版とともに家康が刊行した書物として名高い。その刊行事情は崇伝の『本光国師(ほんこうこくし)日記』に詳しい。まず1615年（元和1）に『大蔵(だいぞう)一覧集』を開版し、125部を印行、ついで翌年には『群書治要(ぐんしょちよう)』を刊行したが、家康は完成の前に急逝した。駿河版の銅活字（重要文化財）は現在、凸版印刷（株）の所蔵となっている。
